Edward Turner, when he was Managing Director of Triumph, once came to the Canadian Prairies during a very cold January. It was 40 below zero and the acerbic Turner could not believe that there was a market for motorcycles in this God-forsaken country.
Mr. Turner might be surprised to see what we have done here in the great white north.
MOTOPARTS began in November 1995 with the purchase of the remains of the Nicholson Bros. inventory. Working from an 1,800 square foot building and additional off site storage in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, the company has grown to an inventory of over 10,000 new part numbers and tons of used spares.
We have two full time employees making it all happen. John Oland handles parts and sales and Ross Elliot (Rossco) is our very talented mechanic/machinist.
A few years ago we started selling consignment bikes (more than 100 sold so far). Our service end has taken off with bikes coming to us from all over western Canada and the territiories. We also prepare project bikes for restoration for enthusiasts in our well equipped shop. We are always looking for new ways to get more British motorcycles on the road.
